Operating in over 35 countries, MAG’s work protects lives, supports recovery and enables sustainable development. Last year, the charity received the Conrad N. Hilton Humanitarian Prize for 2025, the world’s largest and most prestigious humanitarian award, recognising not only MAG’s impact, but also its potential to shape the future of humanitarian mine action.

Today, MAG stands at a defining point in its history. Global humanitarian needs are intensifying while traditional sources of funding are under increasing pressure. Yet amidst this uncertainty, their mission has never been more vital.

The organisation is now seeking a Director of Global Philanthropy to build on this momentum, helping MAG grow, diversify and sustain its income through transformative partnerships and global philanthropy.

What You’ll Do:

The Director of Global Philanthropy is a newly created, high-impact leadership position responsible for driving growth in philanthropic income and building a global community of supporters who share MAG’s humanitarian vision.

This role will be instrumental in achieving MAG’s strategic priority of “Funding Our Ambition” embedding sustainable, values-driven philanthropy at the heart of the organisation.

Who You Are:

You are an accomplished fundraising leader with a proven record of delivering significant philanthropic growth and forging lasting, values-led partnerships. You bring creativity, entrepreneurial spirit and strategic insight to every challenge.

You will have:

A strong track record of securing six- and seven-figure gifts from individuals, foundations and corporations.
Experience developing and implementing international fundraising strategies across multiple markets.
The ability to inspire, lead and develop teams across geographies and disciplines.
Outstanding relationship management skills and the gravitas to engage senior donors, boards and global partners.
A deep belief in the power of generosity to create change, and a personal commitment to MAG’s humanitarian mission and values.
