Senior Full Stack Engineer

Overview

Our client is a fast-growing, venture-backed technology company based in New York, building a next-generation low-code platform that powers configuration, integration, and automation for financial institutions. Serving banks and fintechs across the U.S., this company is designing the operating system for modern financial services. They are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to develop end-to-end product features, shape scalable architecture, and help deliver high-impact solutions that redefine financial infrastructure.

Challenges you would face

Develop, ship, and maintain product features across frontend and backend systems
Implement and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services using NestJS and PostgreSQL
Build dynamic, server-rendered interfaces using React and TypeScript
Design and manage data models and complex financial workflows
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and Solutions
Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and performance optimization
Contribute to defining and improving engineering best practices and architecture standards

The ideal candidate

5+ years of experience as a software engineer in product-focused environments
Proficient in React, TypeScript, and Node.js (NestJS preferred)
Strong understanding of PostgreSQL including schema design and query optimization
Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs
Familiarity with AWS cloud services and infrastructure concepts
Comfortable owning features from design to release and iteration
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Plus

Experience with financial services, SaaS platforms, or low-code/no-code products
Comfort working with distributed teams in fast-paced environments
Interest in system design, DevOps, or performance optimization
Experience with tools such as Terraform, Docker, GitHub Actions, and Redis
