AI Engineer

Our client is a leading technology company helping creators, media companies, and brands grow through advanced digital content solutions. As one of the world’s largest multi-vertical video publishers, their platform reaches billions of monthly views and hundreds of millions of users. They are seeking an AI Engineer to join their team in Brazil and contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI systems that power automation, intelligence, and innovation across their platform.

Challenges you would face

Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven systems leveraging large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
Build scalable AI backend components using Python and integrate with internal and external APIs
Architect and implement multi-agent systems for complex task coordination
Collaborate with backend and product teams to integrate intelligent features and automate workflows
Optimize LLM prompt performance and monitor prompt health using tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, and LangSmith
Fine-tune LLMs to improve contextual accuracy and domain relevance
Design and maintain data retrieval pipelines and knowledge bases for RAG systems
Implement observability, testing, and evaluation mechanisms for AI agents in production
Write clean, maintainable, modular code and contribute to code reviews and documentation

The ideal candidate

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field
3+ years of experience in AI development, preferably in media or technology environments
5+ years of experience as a backend developer with strong Python skills
Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, or similar tools
Proficiency in building multi-agent systems, RAG pipelines, and LLM fine-tuning
Experience monitoring and evaluating LLM prompt health
Strong understanding of horizontal scalability and backend system performance
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments
Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities

Experience with FastAPI
Experience writing automated tests in Python
Understanding of A/B testing, data analysis, and performance metrics
