BridgeCare’s software is a white-label data and case management system for government agencies in the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) sector. It helps parents and ECCE providers, primarily licensed child care and public preschool programs, by increasing family access to affordable child care, supporting providers, streamlining government processes, and delivering real-time data insights for better decision making.

What You Will Do

As BridgeCare’s Sales Manager of Local Initiatives, you will play a pivotal role in expanding local partnerships with Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) agencies and school districts. This role combines ECE knowledge with the ability to help change the entire system. As the first team member focused on Local Initiatives, this person will work closely with CCR&Rs and school districts administering Pre-K and/or Head Start/Early Head Start programs. As part of the Sales team, they’ll build authentic relationships in the field while managing the full sales cycle from start to finish.

Respnsibilities:

Manage the full sales lifecycle for local/regional CCR&R and Pre-K opportunities across all markets
Identify and create target accounts and regions
Manage email campaigns and outreach to prospects
Manage sales leads for Local Initiatives through closing
Create buyer-specific sales collateral
Conduct meetings with prospects and promote BridgeCare’s products and services including product demos and follow up materials
Maintain and nurture a clean and accurate pipeline of opportunities, accounts, and contacts in the CRM system
Build relationships at the local level with key individuals responsible for ECE initiatives and other influencers
Develop a base of contacts and accounts at the county and local level that have influence on buying decisions
Collaborate with the Sales lead on value messaging and targeted campaigns for CCR&R and Pre-K buyers
Participate in the RFP process for local opportunities
Attend trade shows and conferences targeted for BridgeCare attendance
Provide market feedback to the Sales lead and BridgeCare team
Work cross-functionally with Implementation, Customer Success, and Product teams for smooth post-sales handoff

Who You Are

You are an experienced and motivated professional with deep roots in early childhood education and a passion for systemic impact. You bring strong relationship-building skills, a proven ability to manage complex sales cycles, and an enthusiasm for helping communities thrive through effective ECE systems.

Qualifications:

5-7+ years of ECE experience
Experience in sales, partnerships, advocacy, or development
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation skills, and the ability to understand and articulate a customer’s needs and requirements
Experience managing a pipeline, conducting discovery calls, and using a CRM
Experience is selling technology solutions to state and local government entities
Strong relationship-building skills and commitment to developing a trusted network within the sector
Believes we need a well-funded and well-functioning ECE system and wants to be part of making BridgeCare’s vision a reality
Motivated, goal-oriented, and genuinely interested in helping our partners
Experience with the RFP process
Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, growing environment
Early stage or start-up experience preferred
