Senior DevOps Engineer (LatAm)

Overview

Our client is a leading fintech platform revolutionizing the way people invest and trade by building high-performance, secure, and scalable systems. They are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer based in Latin America to join their distributed infrastructure team, ensuring platform reliability and efficiency during New York trading hours.

Challenges you would face

Design, maintain, and optimize infrastructure for a large-scale trading platform
Manage and automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker
Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Vault
Implement and enhance monitoring systems with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Datadog
Support production environments during trading hours to ensure uptime and rapid incident response
Conduct root cause analyses and postmortems to drive continuous improvement
Collaborate with global engineering teams for 24/7 operational coverage
Optimize cost, performance, and security across systems

The ideal candidate

6+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or SRE roles
Expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
Strong Linux administration and scripting skills (Bash/Python)
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Datadog
Knowledge of SQL, MySQL, and MongoDB databases
Experience with cloud providers like AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI
Proven experience managing high-traffic, high-availability systems
Fluent English communication and ability to work autonomously across time zones

Plus

Experience with security and compliance tools (WAF, SSO/SAML, TrendMicro, Cloudflare)
Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Experience in incident management and postmortems
Exposure to financial systems or trading platforms
