BI Data Analyst, Larnaca – BIDA/12/25

Our clients is seeking a highly motivated Business Intelligence (BI) Data Analyst to join the family office, which focuses on investments in private equity and startups. This is a newly created role, offering the opportunity to design and implement the office’s entire reporting framework from the ground up. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that support decision making.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement BI reporting systems and dashboards
Establish data collection, integration, and management processes across different data sources
Collaborate with management to identify reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Create standardized reports and ad-hoc analyses to support decision-making and financial performance monitoring.
Ensure consistent reporting standards, produce quarterly reports with executive summaries, asset valuations, and trend analysis.
Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations.
Enhance reporting templates and collaborate with IT/finance teams for data automation.
Liaise with finance teams, present findings clearly, and build strong relationships.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting tools.
Continuously improve reporting processes and recommend new tools or methodologies.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven experience (3–5 years) in BI, data analysis, or financial reporting Tools.
Strong knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and SQL databases.
Experience in setting up reporting frameworks from scratch is highly desirable.
Familiarity with private equity, venture capital, or startup investment environments.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to present complex data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Proactive, independent, and able to thrive in a newly established role.
