Semi-Senior Backend Developer

Challenges you would face

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services within a microservice architecture
Participate in feature planning, estimation, and delivery from concept to production
Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and scalability
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to ensure system reliability
Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices
Take ownership of features, driving them from design to deployment
Proactively identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions

The ideal candidate

2+ years of experience in backend software development
Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
Strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservice architecture
Experience with relational and non-relational databases
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK
Knowledge of design patterns and clean coding practices
Ability to work effectively in agile and cross-functional environments
Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and verbal

Plus

Experience with Node.js, Express, or NestJS
Exposure to React.js for frontend integration
Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, EC2, or RDS
Understanding of e-commerce platforms or marketplace ecosystems
Experience working in startup or fast-paced environments
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization using Docker or Kubernetes
