Position Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Senior UX/UI Designer with a proven track record at a leading technology company (“Big Tech”). The role will be full‑time, remote (US), and will report directly to the Head of Product Design. The designer will own end‑to‑end user experience delivery for flagship crypto products, shaping the visual language and interaction models that power a seamless experience.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design of high‑impact user flows for the exchange, wallet, and browser extension, from concept through launch.
Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, data analysts, and compliance teams to translate business goals into intuitive, user‑centred designs.
Develop and maintain a scalable design system that ensures visual consistency across all products.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations; synthesize findings into actionable design improvements.
Mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of design excellence and iterative learning.
Advocate for accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design throughout the product lifecycle.
Produce high‑fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and detailed specifications for hand‑off to development.
Stay current on crypto‑industry trends, competitor products, and emerging UI/UX patterns to keep the organization at the forefront of innovation.

Essential Qualifications

8–20 years of professional experience in UX and UI design, with at least 4 years at a recognized Big Tech firm (e.g., Google, Apple, Microsoft, Meta, Amazon).
Strong portfolio showcasing end‑to‑end product design, complex interaction flows, and a mature visual language.
Expertise with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping platforms (e.g., InVision, Axure).
Deep understanding of user‑centered design methodologies, information architecture, and visual design principles.
Proven ability to work in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments and ship features on tight timelines.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to articulate design decisions to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Experience designing for financial or regulated industries (especially crypto) is highly desirable.

Desired Experience & Skills

Hands‑on experience with responsive and mobile‑first design for web and extension platforms.
Knowledge of front‑end development basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate seamless design‑development collaboration.
Familiarity with data‑driven design, A/B testing, and analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude).
Understanding of security and compliance considerations unique to crypto products.
Leadership experience in building or scaling design teams.
