Ingénieur – estimation et support technique

Manufacturier spécialisé – Centre-du-Québec (poste bilingue)

Notre entreprise conçoit et fabrique des solutions techniques destinées aux projets de ventilation et de mécanique du bâtiment. Nous recherchons une personne capable d’évaluer les besoins des clients, de préparer des propositions techniques et d’offrir un soutien après-vente professionnel. Le rôle combine analyse technique, estimation et interaction quotidienne avec divers intervenants internes et externes.

Vos responsabilités

• Prendre connaissance des demandes des clients et analyser les paramètres techniques associés aux projets.
• Préparer les soumissions, effectuer les calculs requis et présenter des recommandations adaptées.
• Répondre aux questions relatives aux produits et accompagner les clients dans leurs choix.
• Gérer plusieurs dossiers en parallèle en utilisant les systèmes internes (ERP/CRM).
• Examiner et valider certaines études techniques complétées à l’externe avant envoi.
• Collaborer avec les équipes d’ingénierie, de marketing et de R&D pour contribuer à l’amélioration des outils et documents techniques.
• Assurer un soutien après-vente, incluant l’aide au diagnostic et au dépannage à distance lorsque nécessaire.
• Participer au traitement des réclamations et à la mise à jour de la documentation.
• Prendre part aux discussions internes visant à optimiser les processus du département.

Profil recherché

• DEC en technologie du génie ou baccalauréat en ingénierie (mécanique, mécanique du bâtiment ou domaine similaire).
• Expérience pertinente en ventilation, climatisation ou mécanique du bâtiment (minimum deux ans).
• Capacité à lire et interpréter des dessins, plans et schémas techniques.
• Rigueur, sens de l’analyse et facilité à résoudre des problématiques techniques.
• Aisance à communiquer et à travailler avec différents types d’intervenants.
• Capacité à gérer plusieurs demandes simultanément.
• Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.
• Confort avec les outils informatiques; expérience avec un ERP (Infor) ou un CRM (Salesforce) est un atout.

Engineer – Estimation & Technical Support

Specialized Manufacturer – Centre-du-Québec (bilingual role)

Our company designs and produces technical solutions used in ventilation and building mechanics projects. We are looking for someone who can evaluate customer requirements, prepare technical proposals and provide professional post-sales support. The position involves technical analysis, project follow-up and regular communication with both customers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review customer requests and analyze the technical aspects of each project.
• Prepare quotations, perform required calculations and offer appropriate recommendations.
• Assist customers by answering product questions and guiding them through available options.
• Manage multiple files concurrently using internal CRM/ERP tools.
• Validate outsourced technical studies before sending them to customers.
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing and R&D teams to improve internal tools and documentation.
• Provide post-sales technical assistance, including diagnostics and remote troubleshooting when required.
• Support claim handling and help maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Contribute to internal discussions aimed at optimizing departmental processes.

Profile

• Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, building mechanics or related field).
• Minimum of two years of experience in ventilation, HVAC or building mechanics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans and diagrams.
• Strong analytical ability and a structured approach to problem-solving.
• Comfortable interacting with customers and various technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage several requests simultaneously.
• Fluency in French and English, spoken and written.
• Proficiency with standard computer tools; experience with ERP (Infor) or CRM (Salesforce) is an asset.
