Job Description: Office Manager / Accounting Specialist

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily office operations to ensure a productive working environment.
Manage accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights to management.
Coordinate and maintain office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.
Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and standards.
Assist in the onboarding, and training of new joiners
Develop and implement office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Act as the point of contact for internal and external communications, ensuring timely responses to inquiries.
Support management in strategic planning and execution of office projects.
Perform ad hoc analyses and projects as required.

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Office Manager, Accounting Specialist, or similar role.
Strong understanding of office management procedures and accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Fluency in Japanese and English (both written and spoken).

Desired Experience:

3+ years of experience in office management and accounting.
Experience in working within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Prior experience in a technology or startup environment is preferred.
Knowledge of Japanese labor laws and regulations is a plus.
