NOW HIRING: EIFS Installer / Exterior Finisher

Position Summary

Great Basin Staffing LLC is urgently hiring skilled EIFS Installers / Exterior Finishers for a fast-paced commercial project in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. This crew will install full Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems from WRB to finish coat. Work continues through the weekend with only Thanksgiving Day off to hit deadline.

Key Responsibilities

• Install EIFS insulation board (EPS/XPS), cut/shape/fit material
• Apply base coats and embed fiberglass mesh properly
• Apply finish coats with required textures/colors
• Install WRBs, flashing, and drainage components
• Perform detailing around penetrations, windows/doors, control joints
• Patch/repair EIFS as needed
• Follow manufacturer specifications (Dryvit, STO, Master Wall, etc.)
• Maintain clean and safe work environment

Required Experience

• 2+ years EIFS, stucco, or façade finishing experience
• Skilled with trowels, knives, mesh work, rasping, and texture finishing
• Understanding of moisture management and WRB sequencing
• Ability to work heights/scaffolding
• Must have basic hand tools
• Reliable transportation

Preferred
• Commercial construction carpenters or stucco mechanics transitioning into EIFS
• Experience with Dryvit, STO, Master Wall, Parex, Synergy, Senergy, BASF systems
• Previous work on hotels, retail facades, big-box remodels, or mid-rise commercial cladding
• Understanding of building envelope science (air barriers, dew point, thermal bridging)

• Duration: Through project completion
• Hours: Full days, weekend work required
• Off Day: Thanksgiving only
• Per Diem: Yes for qualified travelers (no travel reimbursement)
