This senior role sits within a small cybersecurity architecture and engineering team focused on designing, maintaining and optimising the organisation's security technology stack. The work spans hands on engineering, tool optimisation, automation, scripting and integrating security into SDLC and DevSecOps. The role supports the SOC through configuration and enhancement of SIEM, XDR, EDR, SOAR and cloud security tooling, while continuously uplifting defence capabilities using threat modelling and adversarial frameworks. It contributes to architecture reviews, security standards and cross-team collaboration. Strong experience in security tools, cloud security, automation and active defence is required. The environment values security by design, zero trust principles, engineering maturity and practical problem solving across a complex enterprise.
