Senior Digital Marketing & E-commerce Strategist

Location: Remote, Offshore (LATAM Preferred) Schedule: Initial Part-Time (Scaling to Full-Time Quickly) Time Zone Requirement: Minimum 4 hours daily overlap with U.S. Eastern Time (9 AM – 5 PM EST).

Role Overview: The Strategic Builder & 360° E-commerce Leader

We are seeking a full-spectrum, 360° marketing professional who is eager to build this marketing function from the ground up. This is a highly autonomous role perfect for an individual with an agency or startup background who can implement structure, define new processes, and rapidly expand the company's digital footprint.

You are not a narrow specialist; you are an experienced Digital Marketing Strategist who will proactively offer consulting to the business, expanding your own role as you scale revenue.

Critical Requirement: Autonomy and Strategic Oversight

We require someone with the confidence to advise the client on how to build out their own role and who possesses the experience to know if a channel is profitable, understand attribution, and detect when agencies or campaigns are underperforming. You must be able to run with the marketing function without requiring constant oversight.

Core Responsibilities & Scaling Strategy

This role is designed to be part-time initially (minimum 4 hours overlapping with EST), scaling to full-time based on the strategic needs you identify and successfully implement.

I. Strategic Planning & Agency Oversight

Structure & Scalability: Implement initial marketing structure, systematize processes, and build a framework for scaling the company's marketing operations.
Agency Management: Manage, coordinate, and oversee all external agencies and vendors, holding them financially accountable to clear performance metrics.
Channel Strategy: Evaluate cross-channel profitability and performance, focusing on Amazon, Google, and Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and determining optimal media mix.

II. Core E-commerce & Performance Marketing

Campaign Management: Oversee the strategy, launch, and optimization of all paid advertising campaigns across Amazon, Google, and Meta.
Analytics: Utilize Google Analytics and other web analytics platforms (e.g., NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends) to report clearly on performance, attribution, and provide actionable recommendations.
CRO & Product Launch: Drive strategy for Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), including design and A/B testing, and assist with the planning and execution of new product launches.
Marketplace Expansion: Support expansion to new marketplaces and online retailers (e.g., Walmart, Best Buy, online stores, etc.).

III. Content, CRM & Brand Health

SEO & Content: Direct keyword/SEO strategy, manage blog/on-site content optimization, and link-building support. Ensure all campaigns engage, educate, and motivate target audiences.
Email & CRM: Manage email campaigns (flows + broadcasts) to improve retention and segmentation.
Brand Presence: Oversee brand presence across social media and utilize LinkedIn for strategic marketing outreach.
Affiliates & Influencers: Plan and execute influencer marketing and affiliate program management.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience: Senior to Pro-Level experience in digital marketing and e-commerce, ideally gained at a fast-paced startup or agency where you were required to build structure. Proven experience in ads, keywords, and cross-channel campaigns is essential.
Mindset: Autonomous self-starter who is a critical thinker, resourceful, and comfortable defining their own responsibilities and priorities. Up-to-date with the latest online marketing trends and best practices.
Technical Depth: Hands-on experience managing and assessing campaigns across Amazon, Google, and Meta. Solid knowledge of various web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
Accountability: Proven ability to manage vendors, assess agency performance, and present clear, confident recommendations.
Communication & Aesthetic: Strong copywriting and communication skills with a good aesthetic sense for presenting brand materials.
Location: Must be based in LATAM and comfortable maintaining a consistent schedule overlap with U.S. Eastern Time.
