Store Manager, Limassol – SML/12/25

Our client is looking for a Store Manager who will have an overall responsibility for the store’s operations, which include the following areas: Store Management, Sales & Customer Service, Merchandising & Replenishment, Credit Control and Health & Safety

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate, supervise, and monitor store operations to ensure they are carried out accurately, with quality, and within predefined timeframes.
Continuously strive to improve processes and systems and manage change effectively.
Ensure the availability of necessary resources and an appropriate working environment for the smooth operation of the store.
Communicate the Company’s strategic objectives to staff and explain the role of the store in achieving them.
Set store objectives and allocate them among the store’s departments.
Provide continuous support and feedback to store staff and resolve work-related issues.
Evaluate staff members in accordance with the applicable Performance Evaluation system.
Utilize and develop the professional skills of store personnel.
Motivate staff to improve both quantitative and qualitative performance.
Schedule and monitor staff work schedules and annual leave.
Control the store’s cash and expenses (e.g. overtime).
Resolve administrative issues (e.g. repairs).
Promote store sales and cross-selling of products from other departments.
Provide effective customer service (internal and external) in-store and/or by telephone.
Prepare and manage order forms and/or customer quotations to ensure their correct and timely completion.
Inform the Purchasing Department of purchases required to cover product shortages for existing customer orders.
Submit recommendations to the Purchasing Department for new products and/or increased demand for existing products.
Inspect products returned by customers.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of store inventory to achieve proper classification and timely replenishment.
Ensure correct and immediate pricing of products.
Ensure proper shelf arrangement in accordance with relevant guidelines.
Ensure timely submission of requests to the Central Warehouse for replenishment of shortages.
Monitor customer credit balances and address credit limit overruns in cooperation with the Credit Control Department.
Monitor delivery notes (waybills) issued to customers to ensure their conversion into invoices within the time limits defined by company policy.
Implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures, and inform the company’s Health & Safety Officer of identified issues and improvements.

Notify the company’s Health & Safety Officer in the event of accidents within the store’s areas of responsibility.
Notify the company’s Health & Safety Officer in the event of work-related accidents or illnesses affecting staff.

Candidate’s profile

At least 5 years’ experience in a relevant position in a similar industry
Acquiring a degree in business, management, HR or any other related field
Experience in managing big teams (over 25 people)
Fluent in Greek and English languages
Effective communication skills and problem-solving abilities
Competent user in MS office

Salary range 2,500–3,500 gross*13

Five working days on a seven-day schedule
Two weeks per month six days schedule
