About the Role

The IT Executive (Application and ERP Support) is a critical technical role responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of the company's enterprise software ecosystem. This position focuses on the management, integration, and troubleshooting of core business applications including ERP, CRM, and Sales Distribution systems. The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy professional with a strong background in database management and a proactive approach to supporting end-users across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

1. System Management & Integration

Enterprise Systems: Manage and maintain the ERP, CRM, Point of Sale (POS), and Sales Redistribution Systems.
Mobile Solutions: Oversee the functionality and synchronization of mobile-based sales applications used by field teams.
Integrations: Handle system integrations to ensure smooth data flow between different business platforms and APIs.

2. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

End-User Support: Provide technical assistance to head office staff and remote site personnel regarding application issues.
Vendor Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for external software vendors to facilitate system maintenance, upgrades, and complex troubleshooting.
Network & OS: Utilize knowledge of Windows environments and basic networking to resolve connectivity or hardware-related application issues.

3. Data Management & Analysis

SQL Queries: Assist in writing and executing SQL queries to extract data and perform detailed data analysis for management reporting.
Database Maintenance: Perform regular system health checks, backups, and user access management to ensure data security and integrity.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

Education: A Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Information Systems Management, or a related field.
Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a dedicated IT support or application support role.
Software Knowledge: Practical experience with platforms such as SAGE, SAP, Dynamics, Odoo, or Ventura, as well as mobile app-based enterprise systems.

Technical Skills & Competencies

Databases: Proficiency in SQL and basic database management.
Web Tech: A good understanding of APIs and data formats such as JSON.
Mobility: Willingness to travel to sites for on-site technical support when required.
Languages: Fluency in English and Sinhala is required; proficiency in Tamil is considered a distinct advantage.
