Role Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Paralegal / Executive Assistant to support a healthcare consulting firm based in California. This is a high-level, hands-on role requiring 5–10 years of relevant experience, combining substantive paralegal responsibilities with executive-level administrative support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly capable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive paralegal support, including legal research, document drafting, and case management for complex healthcare-related matters
Deliver executive-level administrative assistance, including calendar management, travel coordination, expense reporting, and general administrative tasks
Conduct in-depth research and prepare clear, accurate written materials
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail across all deliverables
Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Apply knowledge of California healthcare regulations and legal requirements in daily work
Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency
Collaborate closely with firm leadership to support ongoing growth and operational effectiveness

Qualifications

5–10 years of experience as a Paralegal and/or Executive Assistant, preferably within the healthcare industry
Strong familiarity with healthcare regulations and legal requirements in California
Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills
High level of intelligence and sound judgment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general productivity tools
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
