As the Midwest Regional Sales Manager, you’ll play a critical role in turning that momentum into sustained growth by owning execution, distributor performance, and account velocity across one of the company’s most important regions.

What You Will Do

The Midwest Regional Sales Manager will own regional execution across IL, OH, MI, MN, and IN, with a focus on driving velocity, strengthening distributor performance, and deepening relationships with key retail and on-premise accounts. This is a highly in-market, hands-on role centered on operational excellence rather than new-door hunting.

Responsibilities:

Drive profitable sales growth and achieve depletion and shipment KPIs across the Midwest territory
Manage and lead distributor partners through clear expectations, cadence, and performance tracking
Own key regional and multi-unit retail relationships (e.g., Meijer, Heinen’s, Binny’s, Lunds & Byerlys, etc.)
Partner with National Accounts to ensure strong execution in banner accounts across the region
Increase account velocity through secondary placements, displays, menus, and disciplined discounting
Execute local marketing initiatives in partnership with Field Marketing and the broader Marketing team
Analyze market data (VIP, limited SPINS) to inform forecasting, planning, and opportunity identification
Conduct in-market training, ride-withs, tastings, and distributor sales meetings
Represent Three Spirit as a strategic, professional brand ambassador in the field
Travel is expected ~80% of the time, with significant in-market presence.

Who You Are

You’re a strategic, relationship-driven sales leader who thrives in growth-stage environments and enjoys building structure where it’s still evolving. You’re comfortable wearing multiple hats, partnering cross-functionally, and leading through influence—especially with distributor teams.

Qualifications:

5–7+ years of sales experience within the beverage industry, ideally in spirits, adult non-alcoholic, functional beverages, or adjacent premium CPG categories
Proven experience managing distributor partners and regional or multi-unit retail accounts
Strong track record driving velocity, depletions, and profitable growth—not just opening doors
Ability to build and execute territory and account plans using sales data and market insights
Comfortable analyzing shipments vs. depletions and managing forecasts and KPIs
Confident presenter and trainer, able to sell, educate, and inspire distributor and account partners
Highly relationship-oriented with strong negotiation and closing skills
Hands-on, team-first mindset suited for a small, fast-growing company where priorities evolve
Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 80%) and spend significant time in market
