Position Title: Brand Training Manager – Food & Beverage

Position Summary

The Brand Training Manager – Food & Beverage is responsible for designing, organizing, and coordinating all brand-related operational training across multiple hospitality concepts within the cluster. This role works closely with Learning & Development, Human Resources, and Operations leadership to ensure consistent brand standards, operational excellence, and employee development across all locations.

The role acts as a brand ambassador, ensuring that brand culture, product standards, service quality, and operational procedures are embedded across Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) teams. The position also plays a key role in new restaurant openings, succession planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Head of Learning & Development, Operations Director, and Executive Chefs to plan, design, and coordinate all brand operational training programs.
Design, develop, and document all brand training materials and manuals using approved templates for FOH and BOH.
Prepare and manage the Brand Training Programme in alignment with overall L&D strategy.
Develop brand immersion and onboarding training plans for all new hires across roles and levels.
Coordinate closely with operations managers and training coordinators to deliver training at all levels.
Manage and track all brand training activities, including trainee nominations, schedules, and attendance.
Generate and maintain training MIS reports, including training passports, training matrices, and operational training records.
Ensure employees complete required training and certifications within probation periods.
Support employee development and succession planning in collaboration with operations leadership.
Ensure consistent retraining on product knowledge, service standards, food safety, and quality controls.
Maintain high participation in mandatory training programs, particularly food safety training.
Lead and support brand training for new restaurant openings and inter-unit team transitions.
Prepare, monitor, and control brand training budgets for existing operations and new projects.
Ensure strict compliance with standard operating procedures and internal policies.
Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

Post-secondary education preferred (Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Finance, or related fields).
Minimum 3 years of management experience in a fine dining restaurant.
Minimum 2 years of management experience in an upscale casual dining environment.
Proven experience managing training across multiple hospitality concepts.
Strong knowledge of food safety, quality standards, and operational controls.
WSET Level 1 or 2 certification is an advantage.
