Technical Director (6085/TD/ESS/GR)

Role Profile
Under the supervision of the Commercial Director/ Chief Operation Officer, the role holder will lead and oversee our client’s construction operations. The role involves the overall responsibility for the technical execution of multiple projects, including hotels, industrial facilities, office buildings, and other commercial developments.
The Technical Director will manage and coordinate multiple project teams, ensuring that all projects are delivered in accordance with technical standards, schedules, budgets, and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

Overall supervision of the company’s technical operations and active construction projects
Leadership, coordination, and performance management of project teams (Project Managers, Site Engineers, Architects, etc.)
Ensure compliance with project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and contractual obligations
Review and approve technical solutions, construction methodologies, and critical change orders
Support tendering and pre-construction activities from a technical perspective
Identify and mitigate technical and construction-related risks
Provide technical guidance and resolve complex construction issues
Collaborate with Commercial Director/COO on resource planning and company growth strategy
Establish, implement, and monitor technical procedures, standards, and best practices
Participate in meetings with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline (AEI or TEI)
Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in construction projects across multiple locations
Proven experience in managing and leading multiple project teams
Strong knowledge of construction processes and site operations
Experience in budget control, scheduling, and change management
Strong decision-making, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and coordination abilities
