The Opportunity

VariaCode is seeking a strategic Embedded SDR to work directly with a U.S.-based boutique branding agency representing top-tier NFL athletes, digital creators, and public figures.

As a founding SDR has recently departed, you will fill a critical gap in lead generation capacity to help the agency grow beyond its current average of 5–10 qualified leads per week.

Role Expectations

This is not a mass-blast outbound role. We require smart, strategic outbound efforts tailored to specific brand goals and talent alignment. You will work closely with the agency’s Head of Talent Marketing, President, and client service staff to:

Research & Alignment: Identify brand categories that align with specific talent personas.
Strategic Targeting: Pinpoint key marketing decision-makers at consumer brands and agencies.
Creative Messaging: Build personalized outbound communications that reflect cultural moments and campaign trends, such as the Super Bowl, NFL offseason, or NIL cycles.
Lead Management: Track and qualify leads into booked calls or warm introductions for the internal leadership team.
Innovation: Bring creative outreach ideas to increase response rates and surface new sponsorship opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Sponsorship Sales: Secure brand endorsements, sponsorships, and event-based activations across industries like fitness, tech, automotive, and beverage.
Brand Integrity: Ensure all outbound messaging strictly aligns with the client’s voice and the specific talent brand to avoid misrepresentation.
Vertical Exploration: Proactively identify new sponsorship categories or brand verticals for talent to explore.
Market Analysis: Read "brand signals" to pitch talent both creatively and accurately.

Candidate Profile

Expertise: Deep understanding of sponsorship sales and the ability to read market signals.
Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to execute high-quality, tailored outbound campaigns rather than high-volume automated blasts.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the sports and creator landscape, including an understanding of how boutique agencies contrast with rigid, large-scale structures.
Collaborative: Ability to work as an embedded consultant, integrating seamlessly into the client’s internal team while representing Variacode’s standards of excellence.
