About the Role

Great Basin Staffing is hiring two General Laborers for a fast, two-day commercial kitchen install. You’ll help unload heavy equipment, move it into place, uncrate/peel wrap, assemble light furnishings, and keep the work area clean and safe.

Key Responsibilities

Unload semi-trailer with 50+ lb commercial kitchen equipment (team lifts/material handling).
Move equipment into the building; position per site direction.
Peel plastic, uncrate equipment, and dispose of packaging (break down cardboard/film).
Assemble basic items: tables, chairs, shelving.
Maintain a clean, organized work area; follow crew lead instructions.

Requirements

Able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly; stand/walk for extended periods.
Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded; follow directions and site protocols.
Full PPE required: hard hat, grip gloves, safety glasses, hi-vis vest or T-shirt, steel-toe shoes.
Basic hand-tool familiarity (Allen keys, wrenches, screwdrivers).
Valid ID for site check-in; eligibility to work in the U.S.

Schedule & Logistics

Two consecutive days, full shifts (expect 8–10 hours/day; possible OT if needed).
Indoor/outdoor transitions; loading dock and finished-space handling.
Paid via W2, standard payroll cycle.
