Terydin Ltd is a lean, high-velocity startup connecting US Clinical Research Organizations (CROs) with elite, university-educated talent in Ghana. We're building the infrastructure that connects Ghana's life-sciences talent to the US market, and we need exceptional design talent to help us get there.

We have a strong engineering team in place. Now, we need someone to make our product beautiful, intuitive, and human.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Product Designer to act as a key partner in product execution. You aren't just designing screens; you are taking high-level concepts and turning them into ready-to-build features. You will use modern AI tools (v0, Claude, Cursor) to skip the "hand-off" and build production-ready user interfaces yourself.

You will sit between Product leadership and the engineering team, responsible for User Experience (UX), User Interface (UI), and Product Management Support.

What You'll Do

Design in the Browser

While you can use Figma for brainstorming, your goal is to get into code as fast as possible. You will use AI generators to build the actual screens our users interact with.

PM Support & Autonomy

Leadership sets the strategic vision, but you define the execution. You fill the gap between idea and implementation. You can take a high-level briefing and figure out the details, the edge cases, and the user flows so engineering isn't blocked.

Own the "Feel"

You define how the product behaves. Is the onboarding flow too long? Fix it. Is the dashboard cluttering the screen? Redesign it. You don't ask for permission to improve usability; you prototype the solution.

AI-Powered Building

You don't need to be a React expert from day one, but you must be eager to use tools like v0.dev and Claude to generate Tailwind and React code. You will paste that code into the project, tweak it, and polish it.

Partner with Engineers

Our engineers are capable of building anything across the stack, but they need a design partner to set the visual standard. You build the high-fidelity UI and interaction models; they integrate it into the scalable architecture.

Requirements

Experience

Portfolio over years: Minimum of 2 years experience although quality of "Taste" matters more than tenure
Demonstrated experience in product design, UI/UX, or interaction design
Portfolio showcasing strong visual design skills and product thinking
Experience with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar)
Bonus: Experience with no-code/low-code tools (Webflow, Framer) or basic HTML/CSS

Education

University degree preferred (Design, Computer Science, or related field)
Self-taught designers with exceptional portfolios are welcome to apply

You know why "Enterprise B2B" shouldn't look boring

Product Thinker

You ask, "Why does the user need this button?" before you design it
Comfortable fleshing out requirements without being micromanaged
Can bridge strategy and execution independently

The "No-Code/Low-Code" Mindset

Not afraid of code, but view it as a means to an end
May have built sites in Webflow, Framer, or dabbled in HTML/CSS

Tech-Curious & AI-Ready

Excited to let AI write the syntax for you
Eager to learn new tools and workflows
Comfortable using tools like v0.dev, Claude, and Cursor

Detail-Oriented

Notice when padding is inconsistent
Hate it when a button doesn't have a "hover" state
Care deeply about polish and user experience
