Civil Construction Manager – Korea

Overview

We are supporting a renewable energy developer on the ground in Korea to hire an experienced Construction Manager. This role focuses on leading on-site construction activities for large-scale infrastructure projects, with responsibility spanning civil works, contractor management, and project execution.

You will play a key role in turning approved designs into safe, high-quality, and operational assets.

Key Responsibilities

Lead construction activities for renewable energy projects in Korea
Oversee civil construction and associated infrastructure works
Manage and coordinate EPC partners, engineering firms, and subcontractors
Review construction plans, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates
Support contractor selection and procurement processes
Work closely with engineering teams to ensure designs are executed correctly
Drive site safety management and compliance
Identify issues early and resolve them through coordination and planning

Required Experience

Proven experience in civil construction, infrastructure, or large-scale development projects
Background in managing contractors and multi-party construction sites
Strong ability to plan, coordinate, negotiate, and solve on-site issues
Native-level Korean communication skills
Willingness to take ownership and operate with a high level of autonomy

Preferred Experience

Experience in renewable energy or energy-related infrastructure projects
Exposure to wind, power transmission, or utility-scale construction
Ability to communicate in English or Japanese in a professional setting
