They are currently expanding their team and looking for a PR Operations Assistant who can support their goals in managing media opportunities, maintaining operational excellence, and driving consistent PR results.

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Virtual Assistant to join Global Team and work with our client as the operational backbone of their PR department.

In this role, you will ensure that media opportunities are tracked, responses are coordinated, deadlines are met, and reporting is accurate. While much of the work is process-driven, this role also requires strategic thinking — identifying creative angles to match clients with media opportunities and proactively spotting new PR moments before they arise. Experience in PR, media tracking, or digital marketing environments is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor media platforms (HARO, Qwoted, and similar) and vet opportunities based on client fit

Identify strategic and non-obvious angles connecting clients to reporter requests

Coordinate with the content team to ensure responses are drafted, reviewed, approved, and submitted on time

Track all opportunities, deadlines, and coverage in organized spreadsheets

Draft and send professional emails and internal communications

Update weekly reports on submitted pitches, secured coverage, and backlinks

Review editorial calendars to identify proactive PR opportunities

Conduct research to support media queries and content creation

Review PR responses for quality, accuracy, and AI-detection compliance

Draft internal documents, PR decks, and presentations as needed

Support media list building and cross-team coordination

Required Skills and Experience:

Strong organizational skills with the ability to track multiple moving parts

Reliable, professional, and proactive communication style

Strong written and spoken English

Ability to follow structured processes and workflows consistently

Comfortable working under pressure with tight deadlines

Proactive mindset with the ability to spot and research opportunities independently

Experience managing spreadsheets and tracking reports

Full-time availability (40 hours per week) aligned with Eastern Time

Reliable internet connection
