ICAP Executive Search on behalf of its client, one of the leading companies in cyber security services, is seeking for a Security Engineer to join their team.

Security Engineer – Ref. 6096/SEE/ESS/GR

Position Overview
The Security Engineer will play a key role in the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of security infrastructure. This professional will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the robustness and reliability of security systems and will be directly involved in maintaining the highest standards of network protection and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in the full lifecycle of security projects, from design and configuration to deployment and operational support.
Co-develop security architectures for enterprise and service provider environments, ensuring alignment with client needs and industry best practices.
Perform ongoing monitoring, risk assessments, and audits of firewall and network security infrastructures.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to core infrastructure and production environments.
Collaborate closely with Product and IT teams to refine and optimize security-related deliverables.
Stay current with developments in cybersecurity technologies, tools, and emerging threats.

Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another relevant discipline.
Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in a Security Engineering or Security Operations capacity.
Proven experience managing and troubleshooting Check Point firewalls.
Strong background in Layer 2 / Layer 3 network configuration and troubleshooting.
Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
Proactive approach to problem-solving combined with strong analytical thinking.
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to evolving business priorities.

Desired Qualifications

Familiarity with Fortinet firewalls and/or CyberArk PAM solutions.
Practical experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., QRadar).
Experience collaborating with IT infrastructure teams to implement cohesive and secure architectures.
