Role Overview
An expat family is seeking an experienced Private Chef to join their household on a long-term basis. This is a dynamic role suited to a flexible, organised chef who is comfortable working in a private household where plans can change at short notice.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering healthy, nutritious meals with a strong focus on Mediterranean and Asian cuisines, while managing all kitchen operations from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
Meal Preparation & Service

Preparing daily meals for the family, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Adapting to days where only one or two meals may be required
Maintaining flexibility around last-minute schedule changes
Delivering consistently high standards of taste, presentation, and nutrition

Culinary Style & Standards

Strong focus on healthy, nutritious cooking
Mediterranean and Asian cuisines essential
No fried foods or unhealthy cooking methods
Clean, balanced meals using fresh ingredients

Kitchen & Pantry Management

Full responsibility for the kitchen, including:
Grocery shopping and supplier coordination
Stock control and monitoring expiry dates
Menu planning and rotation
Kitchen cleanliness and organisation
Managing external catering when required for events or gatherings

Candidate Profile

Proven experience as a Private Chef within a household environment
UAE experience essential with a clear understanding of Dubai household dynamics
Currently based in the UAE (applications from outside the UAE will not be considered)
Highly flexible, organised, and calm under pressure
Comfortable working with a laid-back but last-minute family
Professional, reliable, and discreet
Own car highly advantageous and will place candidates at the top of the shortlist

Accommodation

Live-in option available with a private staff bedroom, ensuite bathroom, and kitchenette
Live-out considered for candidates able to commute reliably and punctually
