Position Summary

We are seeking a talented and industry-experienced Marketing Specialist to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role will serve as the primary marketing support for our various business units, with a strong emphasis on digital presence, social media storytelling, and creation of professional marketing materials. The ideal candidate has proven experience marketing within the construction, or AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) industry and thrives in a remote environment while maintaining strong collaboration across teams.

Primary Responsibilities

Social Media Management & Content Creation (50–60% of time)
Develop and execute social media strategy and content calendar across LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant platforms
Create engaging posts, reels, stories, and short-form video content highlighting projects, safety initiatives, team members, milestones, and company culture
Manage daily posting schedule, community engagement, comments, and direct messages
Track performance metrics and optimize content to increase reach, engagement, and qualified leads
Website Management & Digital Content
Serve as the primary day-to-day administrator of the company website (updates to project pages, service offerings, team bios, news, events, etc.)
Marketing Collateral & Visual Asset Production
Design and produce professional marketing materials including signage, capability statements, brochures, proposal graphics, trade show displays, and presentation decks
Edit construction-site photos and videos for marketing use (progress shots, completed projects, team/environmental highlights)
Ensure strict adherence to brand guidelines across all digital and print materials
Business Unit Support
Act as dedicated marketing partner to division leaders and project teams across the organization
Work closely with business unit leaders to identify upcoming projects, pursuits, and marketing needs
Transform complex technical project details into clear, compelling, client-focused marketing narratives

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

3+ years of professional marketing experience, with at least 2 years specifically in the construction, engineering, architecture, industrial services, or heavy civil industry
Demonstrated success managing B2B social media channels (LinkedIn expertise is essential)
Strong visual storytelling ability — experience capturing/editing photos and short videos from construction job sites is highly preferred
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro or similar video editing tools) and Canva.
Hands-on experience managing and updating company websites (SquareSpace or similar CMS)
Excellent written communication skills with ability to adapt tone for technical owners, public sector clients, and general audiences
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote setting with strong self-direction
Familiarity with construction/AEC industry terminology, project delivery methods, and client priorities

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, or related field
Experience with editing construction photography/videography (including drone footage and site progress documentation)
Graphic design portfolio featuring construction or industrial-related materials

Self-motivated remote worker who excels with minimal supervision
Genuine enthusiasm for the construction industry and pride in visually showcasing real-world projects
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail (including proofreading)
Comfortable coordinating virtual meetings and occasional travel for site photography (when needed; safety training provided)

Work Schedule & Requirements

Full-time position: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central Time (CST), Monday through Friday
Must have reliable high-speed internet, dedicated home office workspace, and ability to participate in daily/weekly video calls
Occasional early morning or evening flexibility may be needed during major project milestones or proposal deadlines
