Job Brief

The General Admin Assistant provides flexible support across day-to-day business operations, managing administrative tasks, maintaining internal systems, and ensuring smooth communication between teams. This remote role requires someone organised, tech-savvy, and proactive in supporting internal workflows.

Responsibilities

Monitor and respond to emails, escalate inquiries when required

Perform data entry and ensure accuracy across internal databases

Maintain digital filing systems and manage shared document folders

Schedule meetings and update calendars as needed

Assist with basic research, report preparation, and document formatting

Support coordination of team tasks and workflows

Prepare invoices, basic reports, and summaries when requested

Track and update internal project management tools

Perform ad hoc administrative tasks to support operations

Requirements

Minimum 1–2 years experience in an administrative or virtual assistant role

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Exceptional organisational and time management abilities

Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and meet deadlines

High level of attention to detail and accuracy

Comfortable working remotely and proactively

Software Proficiency

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Workspace

Project/task management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, ClickUp)

Cloud-based document storage (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox)

Video conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom, Teams)

Education

Certificate or diploma in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field (desirable)
