Athyna is building Latin America's largest network of Law PhDs and Master's experts to work directly on frontier AI post-training with leading AI labs and Fortune 500 companies.

You'll design evaluation frameworks, stress-test model performance, conduct red-teaming exercises, and help refine AI systems for real-world deployment. Projects range from targeted evaluations to ongoing model improvement work, with flexible engagement options: full-time, part-time, or project-based—depending on client needs and your availability.

This is hands-on research work that directly shapes how advanced AI systems perform in production.

Review and evaluate AI-generated legal content for accuracy, clarity, and sound legal reasoning.
Identify incorrect interpretations of laws, regulations, or legal principles.
Assess logical structure, argument quality, and completeness of legal analyses.
Provide structured feedback or reference explanations to improve AI outputs.
Support the development of AI systems that handle legal information responsibly and reliably.

Skills you have 🚀

PhD or Master’s degree in Law (LLM, SJD, PhD in Law, or equivalent).
Strong foundation in legal theory, legal research, and doctrinal analysis.
Ability to interpret and analyze complex legal texts and arguments.
Experience producing clear, well-structured legal writing.
High attention to detail and analytical rigor.

Skills that will make you stand out 💥

Research experience in a specialized legal domain (e.g., regulation, public law, IP, privacy, corporate law).
Experience reviewing or validating legal analyses, papers, or structured arguments.
Familiarity with legal tech tools or AI-assisted legal research.
Experience working with comparative law or cross-jurisdictional analysis.
Ability to translate complex legal reasoning into clear, actionable feedback.
