Electrical Engineer (7–12 Years) – Dallas, Texas

The Opportunity

We are working with a privately held engineering consultancy expanding its electrical engineering capability in Dallas. This position suits an experienced engineer who enjoys hands-on design work while collaborating within a multidisciplinary project team.

Responsibilities

Design electrical power, lighting, and associated systems for a range of building projects, including Federal/Government, Commercial & more.
Prepare technical drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports
Coordinate designs with internal engineering disciplines and external partners
Apply national and local electrical codes throughout the design process
Provide technical input and informal mentoring to junior engineers
Support project delivery through client and contractor coordination

Background & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
7–12 years of professional electrical engineering experience within an established AEC firm - must have experinece in consulting or design environments - this is a must.
EIT certification required; Professional Engineer registration preferred
Strong working knowledge of US electrical codes and standards
Experience using industry-standard design and analysis tools - Revit is a must.
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
