On behalf of its client, a leading company in the dairy production sector, based in the wider Eastern Thessaloniki region, ICAP Executive Search & Selection is seeking a dynamic professional for the following position:

Head of Production (Ref. 6126/PD/ESS/GR)

Position Overview

The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production process, supervising production staff, and ensuring the highest product quality standards, in line with company policies and in close collaboration with relevant departments.

Key Responsibilities

Organize and supervise the production process, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to agreed timelines.
Manage and monitor production staff, including hands-on involvement in shift planning and scheduling.
Allocate responsibilities and conduct performance evaluations of production personnel.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and food safety regulations.
Monitor and continuously improve production methods and processes.
Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall operational efficiency.
Identify, address, and resolve any production-related issues.

Required Qualifications

Degree in Food Technology, Agricultural Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in a similar role within the dairy industry or food manufacturing, with direct involvement in day-to-day production operations.
Strong knowledge of quality and food safety management systems (ISO, HACCP).
Very good command of the English language.
Proficiency in computer use, particularly MS Excel.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
