About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Facility Manager (Property Manager) to support self-storage facilities. This role is ideal for someone who excels in customer service, sales, and organization, and is comfortable managing tenant interactions and facility operations.

You will act as the primary point of contact for customers—handling calls, leads, move-ins, payments, and follow-ups—while working closely with maintenance teams and regional management.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales (Primary Focus)

Answer inbound calls, emails, texts, and online inquiries
Respond promptly to leads and reservations
Conduct virtual sales conversations and convert leads into move-ins
Follow up with prospects who haven’t completed move-ins
Assist tenants with questions, billing, and account updates
Provide clear, professional communication to resolve customer issues
Encourage positive reviews and maintain high customer satisfaction

Leasing & Administrative Tasks

Process move-ins, move-outs, and transfers
Maintain accurate tenant records in the property management system
Coordinate lease documents and customer onboarding
Ensure proper documentation for discounts, ACH enrollment, and fee changes

Facility Coordination

Coordinate with on-site managers and maintenance teams
Create and track maintenance requests as reported by tenants or staff
Support auctions, delinquency workflows, and compliance tasks as needed

Delinquency & Collections Support

Make courtesy calls and send follow-ups for delinquent accounts
Clearly explain balances, payment options, and next steps
Follow established delinquency SOPs and escalate when necessary

What We’re Looking For

Required

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable with sales conversations and closing
Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
Tech-savvy (email, CRM/PMS, task management tools)
Able to work independently and follow systems/processes

Strongly Preferred

Experience in customer service
Sales, call center, or hospitality background

Leads are contacted quickly and consistently, with prompt follow-up
A high conversion rate from inquiries to move-ins
Positive, professional customer experiences that lead to strong reviews and repeat referrals
Minimal customer complaints or escalations, with issues resolved efficiently
Accurate documentation and clean, well-maintained tenant accounts
Smooth coordination with on-site staff, maintenance, and management

Tuesday–Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. CT
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. CT
7 days of paid time off (PTO)
