We are a reputed headhunting company based in Colombo looking for an Area Sales Manager for a leading FMCG company.

The mandatory should demonstrate strong leadership, results driven and a good feel for people management developing business plan for market development that ensures attainment of sales goals and profitability.
Ability to demarcate territories to establish a stronger distributor channel across the island.
Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
Preparing action plans for effective search and development for sales leads and prospects.
Bring in a high level of discipline amongst the field sales on operation and administration.
Plan the sales process for General Trade and Key Account Management.
Organize promotional activities and drive sales by adhering to overall internal business processes.
Develop strategic operational plan for overall business in order to increase sales, subscriber revenue & market share in the district.
To build and develop relationship with potential and new customers, identifying customer requirements and subsequently developing strategies to tackle customer concerns.
Designing and recommending sales and marketing programs and guide the management to introduce new marketing policies/procedures.

Minimum 05 years' of work experience in Sales & Marketing in the fields of FMCG or Channel Management industry.
Candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Sales & Marketing.
Candidate should possess relevant skills in Sales, Retention, Key Account Management, Retail Sales and Channel Management.
Excellent communication skills in Sinhala/ English and Tamil being an added advantage.
