Description

As a Assistant-Maître, you will be part of the restaurant’s front-of-house team and gain hands-on experience in professional hospitality operations. You’ll learn the essentials of high-quality guest service, teamwork, and fine dining etiquette in a dynamic restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the daily preparation of the restaurant before service (table setup, polishing glassware, checking menus, etc.)
Welcome and seat guests in a professional and friendly manner
Present menus and provide information about dishes, beverages, and daily specials
Support the service team during lunch and dinner services
Learn and apply serving techniques, including wine and beverage service
Ensure a clean, organized, and elegant dining area
Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff
Participate in briefings and contribute to maintaining excellent guest satisfaction

Requirements

Student or recent graduate from a recongnized hospitality or culinary school
Strong interest in gastronomy and guest service
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Eagerness to learn, flexible, and a team player
Proficiency in English
Previous hospitality experience is a plus, but not required
