Head of Product - (Ref. code: 6138/HP/ESS/CY)

Location: Cyprus (Relocation to Cyprus is required; relocation support will be provided.)

Role Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Product to define and lead the strategic vision, development and scaling of our client’s global trading product ecosystem. This role owns the end-to-end product strategy for their proprietary trading platform, mobile application, MetaTrader platforms (MT4/MT5), and client-facing trading tools across multiple asset classes including FX, Stocks, ETFs, and Crypto.

As a key member of senior leadership, you will drive product innovation, optimize performance and ensure regulatory alignment while delivering exceptional, user-centric trading experiences. You will work cross-functionally with Technology, Dealing, Compliance, Strategy, Marketing, Business Development, PMO and Operations to align product execution with commercial objectives and long-term growth.

Main Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Vision

Define and execute the long-term product vision and roadmap aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
Lead multi-asset product expansion and continuous platform innovation across web, mobile, and trading tools.
Ensure the product portfolio remains competitive, scalable, and market-leading across global regions.

Product Leadership & Team Management

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Product Operations specialists.
Foster a strong product culture focused on ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

User-Centric Product Development

Drive product development by deeply understanding client needs, behaviours and pain points.
Champion a “working backwards from the user” mindset to deliver intuitive, high-impact trading experiences.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with:
- Compliance to ensure full alignment with global regulatory frameworks.
- Dealing on trading conditions, execution models, and platform enhancements.
- Business Development & Marketing to translate commercial requirements into scalable product solutions.
- Technology & PMO to ensure timely, high-quality product delivery.

Data-Driven Performance & Optimization

Define, track, and analyze product KPIs to measure success, adoption, and performance.
Leverage data, client feedback, and market insights to drive informed prioritization and continuous optimization.

Product Lifecycle Ownership

Own the full lifecycle of all trading products and features, from ideation and development to launch, growth, optimization, and retirement.
Manage prioritization, dependencies, and trade-offs across multiple initiatives and stakeholders.

Stakeholder & Executive Management

Act as the central product voice internally and externally.
Present product strategy, progress, and performance to senior leadership and key stakeholders, aligning technical feasibility with commercial outcomes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related field.
MBA is considered a strong advantage.
10+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within Fintech or Online Brokerage (FX/CFDs).
Deep understanding of retail trading platforms, products, tools, and competitive market dynamics.
Strong hands-on knowledge of the MetaTrader ecosystem (MT4/MT5) and proprietary mobile trading platform development.
Solid understanding of global regulatory frameworks governing CFD and online trading.
Data-driven approach with strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills at executive level.
