Job Description: Operations Associate (Automation Steward)

Location: Remote (South Africa, LATAM, or Philippines)

Compensation: $1,600 – $2,000 USD/month

Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mandatory overlap with 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM EST)

About the company

Our client is at the front lines of brand protection. We safeguard intellectual property for global brands across major e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Walmart. We identify and enforce against unauthorized sellers and counterfeiters to ensure brand integrity.

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Associate who will serve as our "Automation Steward." This is an entry-level role perfect for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working at the intersection of human intuition and automated technology.

You will be the "initial funnel" for our proprietary data crawlers. Your job isn't just to watch a screen; it’s to validate automated data, manage crawl schedules, and ensure that our clients only see high-quality, relevant information in their dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

Data Validation: Act as the final gatekeeper for our crawlers. You will review listings to answer the critical question: "Is this a product the client cares to see inside their dashboard?"
Automation Management: Manage and monitor crawl schedules to ensure consistent data flow.
Troubleshooting: Perform initial triage on crawler performance. You'll identify when things aren't running correctly and escalate issues to the development team or leadership.
Workflow Coordination: Utilize Google Workspace, Slack, and ClickUp to keep operations running smoothly and "low-noise."

The Ideal Profile

We hire for mindset first and technical skill second. We are looking for:

Proactive Problem Solvers: You don’t wait to be told what to do; you identify gaps and fill them.
Clear Communicators: You have excellent written and verbal English skills. You can explain complex issues simply.
Automation Enthusiasts: You view automation as a tool that empowers you to do more, not as a threat to your job.
Independent Thinkers: You are comfortable making decisions autonomously based on established logic.

Qualifications

Required: Proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, and ClickUp.
Required: Proven ability to work remotely with a high degree of discipline.
Bonus Points (Nice-to-Haves):
- Experience in Content Moderation, Trust & Safety, or Fraud Detection.
- Familiarity with E-commerce (Amazon/Walmart/etc.) or Intellectual Property concepts.
- Exposure to data-driven workflows or partitioned catalogs.

The Recruitment Process

If you are shortlisted, you will be asked to provide:

An updated Resume.
A 1–2 minute video introduction (we want to see your personality and communication style!).
Your MBTI (Myers-Briggs) personality test results.
