THE ASSIGNMENT

Our client is a well-loved Canadian CPG brand with global distribution and a devoted consumer following.

Start Date: Monday, March 30th
Duration: Ongoing, ad hoc, long-term
Hours: ~10 - 20 hours/week, will vary
Location: 100% Remote (EST Time Zone Preferred)
Target Rate: Ideally ~$60/hr

The Fractional Graphic Designer will report to the Brand Lead and take ownership of design assignments on an as-needed basis for an undefined amount of time (for the foreseeable). Previous fractional arrangements have been 1+ years in length; some are still ongoing.

The role is ideal for an upper intermediate or early senior designer with experience leading design projects autonomously with minimal creative oversight. You'll design multichannel creative work including emails, paid social, web and print, leveraging established assets and brand guidelines.

Requirements:

4+ years of experience as a graphic designer for a brand or agency
Exposure to CPG or Food Brands is a major asset
A robust portfolio demonstrating design thinking across a wide variety of media including email, web, social and print
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and ideally Figma
Strong understanding of branding, typography, color theory, and layout design
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail
High degree of autonomy and ability to complete projects with minimal oversight
Outstanding communication skills
