About the Role
We are hiring our first Head of Operations to help lead the next phase of rapid growth. This is a senior leadership role and will serve as the CEO’s second-in-command, ensuring the business can operate and scale without ongoing founder involvement in day-to-day execution.

This is not an administrative position. The Head of Operations will be a strategic partner to the CEO, responsible for building systems, managing cross-functional teams, and driving operational excellence across the company.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Execution

Own how work gets done across the company, building standards for priorities, ownership, and follow-through.
Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from planning to execution.
Act as a strategic partner to the CEO, providing research, analysis, and decision support.
Identify risks early and resolve operational bottlenecks before they escalate.

Operations & Project Management

Design and implement scalable operating systems, project workflows, and communication frameworks.
Build and maintain the company’s central project management environment (Notion preferred).
Establish cadences for hiring, meetings, reporting, and decision-making.
Build and lead the Operations and Project Management function.

Cross-Functional Leadership

Manage and mentor department leads across key functions such as Media Buying, CX, and Product.
Build and oversee core HR operations, including recruiting, onboarding, and performance management.
Ensure new hires ramp up quickly with clear expectations and success metrics.

Communications & Reporting

Build and maintain dashboards for priorities, OKRs, timelines, and risks.
Create full visibility into company operations through structured reporting.
Improve cross-team communication and reduce friction in workflows.

Day-to-Day Focus (After Onboarding)

Build and refine the company’s operating and project management systems.
Act as the first responder for operational challenges.
Maintain dashboards tracking OKRs, timelines, and risks.
Conduct 1:1s with team leads to ensure alignment and progress.
Support hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
Execute special projects and strategic initiatives from the CEO.

Required Experience & Qualifications

10–13+ years of professional experience (15+ preferred).
Previous leadership experience in operations, project management, or a similar role.
Direct experience working in a startup environment.
Experience working closely with a founder or CEO.
Proven experience managing people and cross-functional teams.
Experience with hiring, onboarding, and HR-related processes.
Fluent English (written and verbal).
Availability to overlap with EST working hours.

Core Technical Skills

Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets (data analysis, basic modeling).
Ability to read and interpret a P&L or income statement.
Notion or similar project management tools.
Slack or Telegram.
Data analysis and reporting.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Experience

B2C marketing, eCommerce, or performance marketing environments.
Experience in agencies, direct-response companies, or digital product businesses.
Tools such as Shopify, Zendesk, Meta Ads, or marketing automation platforms.
Experience building operations functions from the ground up.
