Main requirements

Required Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
Professional HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) are preferred

Technical Skills
Knowledge of HSE regulations and international standards
Training development and presentation skills
Risk assessment and hazard identification knowledge
Incident investigation basics
MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Soft Skills
Strong communication and presentation skills

Ability to work with multicultural teams

Experience
Typically 3–7 years in HSE roles
Experience in delivering safety training in industrial environments (construction, oil & gas, manufacturing, energy, etc.) is an advantage

Job Summary
The HSE Training Specialist is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering health, safety, and environmental training programs to ensure employees and contractors comply with company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The role supports the organization in maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement HSE training programs and materials
Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and specialized HSE training sessions
Ensure compliance with local regulations, company standards, and client requirements
Maintain training records and competency matrices
Identify training needs through risk assessments, audits, and incident analysis
Support incident investigations and recommend preventive training actions
Coordinate external training providers when required
Promote HSE awareness and safety culture across the organization
Support emergency response training and drills
Participate in HSE audits and inspections
