Main requirements

Qualifications
Secondary school or vocational education preferred.
Basic construction training is an advantage.

Experience
1–3 years of experience in construction or civil works preferred.
Experience in earthworks, concrete works, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies
Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials.
Ability to perform physical work in outdoor conditions.
Basic understanding of construction safety.
Teamwork and reliability.
Willingness to learn multiple construction disciplines.

Main responsibilities

Job Summary
The Civil Worker (Universal) performs a wide range of general civil construction activities, including earthworks, concrete works, manual labor, and site preparation. The role supports different civil disciplines depending on project needs and ensures work is performed safely and according to site requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Perform general construction and civil works activities as assigned.
Support earthworks activities such as excavation, backfilling, leveling, and compaction.
Assist in concrete works including formwork preparation, pouring, leveling, and curing.
Carry out manual material handling and site preparation works.
Assist skilled workers such as masons, carpenters, and equipment operators.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Follow instructions from Foreman or Supervisor.
Maintain housekeeping and site cleanliness.
Follow HSE procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
