About the Company

Our client is a niche distributor specializing in measurement products primarily serving the gas utility and water sectors. With a small but highly technical team (5–10 employees), they are known for providing customized solutions and deep industry expertise. As demand grows, they are looking for a strategic Operations Manager to help scale systems, improve efficiency, and support increased project bidding capacity.

Role Overview

We’re seeking a hands-on, strategic Operations Manager who can quickly step in to streamline workflows, manage logistics, and strengthen operational infrastructure. This role is critical to supporting the company’s rapid growth and ensuring operational readiness as project volume increases.

There is also future potential to support AI-driven operational improvements, working alongside leadership to implement and manage AI tools that enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations and project management processes
Manage logistics, procurement, and supply chain coordination
Develop, implement, and monitor operational KPIs for team performance
Identify inefficiencies and streamline workflows to improve productivity
Collaborate closely with sales to align operational capacity with demand
Support scaling initiatives to prepare the company for growth

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience in operations management and project management
Strong knowledge of logistics, procurement, and supply chain processes
Experience using project management and workflow tools
Ability to build operational systems from the ground up
