Position : Accounts Assistant

Work Hours (Client) : 40 hours/week, UK timezone, Monday-Friday

Pay Range : 1,800-2,200USD/month (varies based on skill set and experience level)

Company/Client Overview:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our company as an Accounts Assistant. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to take ownership of key finance processes within our growing business.

This role would suit someone with previous accounts knowledge who enjoys working independently, takes pride in accuracy, and is confident using spreadsheets and adapting to different software platforms.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

Owning the Accounts Payable process end-to-end
Managing weekly payment runs
Raising monthly sales invoices
Performing bank reconciliations
Supporting with financial analysis and reporting
Assisting with continuous improvement of finance processes
Answering and responding to phone calls
Month ending GL Reconciliations

This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the finance function, within our small but friendly team.

Minimum Requirements:

Language requirement: Excellent English Communication Skills

Education: Bachelor's Degree (ideally)

Experience: 3+ years of related experience

We are ideally looking for someone who:

Has previous experience in an accounts or finance support role
Is confident using spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets)
Is comfortable working with cloud-based systems and able to quickly adapt to new software
Has strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
Can manage their workload independently within a part-time structure
A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to support the wider team are essential.
