Business Virtual Assistant (Admin & Operations)

Schedule: 10 AM – 6 PM EST
Location: South Africa and LATAM
Salary: $1500- $2000 (depending on talent/experience).

Role Overview: This is a "Generalist" role focused on the administrative side of the business and tech team. You will act as the glue between the founder, the tech team, and external clients. We need someone young, energetic, and willing to learn our specific way of doing things.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Admin: Handling contracts, setting up Slack channels for clients, and introducing service providers.
Recruiting Support: Managing applicant flows (e.g., sorting through hundreds of engineering applicants) and setting up interviews.
Scheduling: Moving meetings, pushing back schedules, and coordinating with external parties via email and Slack.
Technical Tasks: Assisting with basic setups (Stripe invites, gateway connections) as trained by the tech team.
Support day-to-day business operations across sales, onboarding, support, and finance
Help build and document SOPs where none currently exist
Improve CRM hygiene and operational tracking systems
Assist in building dashboards and reporting visibility
Conduct structured research to support strategic decisions
Coordinate hiring workflows and vendor communication
Identify inefficiencies and proactively implement solutions
Act as a cross-functional bridge between product and frontline ops

Requirements:

Mindset: High attention to detail and "soft thinking" skills. Ability to use AI (ChatGPT) to be more effective.
Tools: Must have a MacBook/Apple product. Proficient in Slack, WhatsApp, and iMessage.
Experience: Startup experience is a plus, but "talent and energy" are the priority.
3+ years in startup operations, business support, or SaaS environments
Comfortable working without fully built systems
