About the Role

The Digital Marketing Manager is a high-impact role designed for a data-driven strategist who thrives at the intersection of technology and marketing. You will be responsible for building and executing the digital growth engine for the group’s EV and Renewable Energy portfolios. This isn't just about managing social media; it’s about high-intent lead generation, digital brand authority, and educating the market on the future of mobility and energy.

Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Strategy & Performance Marketing

Growth Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and high-quality lead generation for EV and Renewable Energy products.
Paid Media Mastery: Lead and optimize performance marketing campaigns across Meta, Google Ads (Search & Display), LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Conversion Optimization: Manage the digital sales funnel, ensuring high conversion rates from initial ad click to showroom inquiry or site visit.

2. Content & Brand Authority

Thought Leadership: Position the brand as a pioneer in the EV space through educational content, technical deep-dives, and sustainability storytelling.
Multimedia Oversight: Direct the creation of high-impact digital assets, including walk-through videos, customer testimonials, and interactive energy-saving calculators.
Social Ecosystem: Manage the group’s social media presence, ensuring a consistent, professional, and innovative brand voice.

3. Data Analytics & CRM

Lead Management: Work closely with the sales and CRM teams to track lead quality and nurture prospects through automated email/WhatsApp marketing sequences.
Reporting: Provide detailed weekly and monthly performance dashboards, focusing on ROI, Cost-Per-Lead (CPL), and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC).
Market Insights: Monitor digital trends in the global EV and solar markets to keep the local brand ahead of the curve.

4. Website & SEO

Digital Real Estate: Own the performance and SEO health of the brand’s websites, ensuring they serve as effective lead-capture hubs.
User Experience: Continuously improve the digital customer journey for users exploring vehicle specs or renewable energy installations.

Candidate Profile

Experience & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in Digital Marketing, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role.
Industry Context: Experience in the Automotive, Tech, or Energy sectors is highly preferred.
Track Record: Proven ability to manage significant digital marketing budgets and deliver measurable revenue growth.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, or Business. Professional certifications (Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, HubSpot) are a distinct advantage.

Technical & Soft Skills

Performance Savvy: Deep technical knowledge of Facebook Business Manager, Google Ads, and SEO tools.
Storytelling: Ability to translate complex technical specs (EV range, Kilowatt hours) into compelling consumer benefits.
Leadership: A proactive "ownership" mindset—you don't wait for a brief; you identify opportunities and execute.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English, capable of communicating with high-level corporate stakeholders and retail customers.
