About the Role:

This is not a "back-office" role, it is a mission-critical operator seat where you’ll bridge the gap between complex accounting and real-world strategy. You will own everything from end-to-end AR/AP and bookkeeping to calculating high-stakes commissions with 95%+ accuracy.

Serving as a vital link, you’ll communicate directly with our Spanish-speaking subcontractors across the U.S., ensuring payments and operations move in perfect sync.

If you are a tech-savvy, "scrappy" numbers pro with an upward trajectory, this is your chance to build a sophisticated financial machine from the ground up and grow into a future leadership role.

Growth Opportunity:

This role offers significant upside for someone looking to grow into:

Senior Accountant / Accounting Lead

Manage invoicing, collections, and vendor/subcontractor payments
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and categorizations
Support the Controller with month-end close and bookkeeping tasks

Subcontractor Communication (Spanish-Speaking)

Communicate directly with Spanish-speaking subcontractors across the U.S.
Handle payment inquiries, collections, and coordination
Act as a bridge between field operations and finance

Tools & Systems:

Work within tools such as:
- Bill.com
- Ramp (spend management)
- Excel / Google Sheets (advanced usage expected)
Help improve workflows and financial processes as the company scales

What We’re Looking For:

Must-Have Qualifications

Strong foundation in GAAP accounting
Proven experience in AR/AP and bookkeeping
Advanced proficiency in Excel / spreadsheets (data consolidation, formulas, accuracy)
Fluent Spanish and strong English (written and verbal)
Experience working with U.S.-based companies or clients
Ability to work full-time (40 hrs/week) with U.S. time zone overlap

Preferred Background

Experience at firms like EY, PwC, Deloitte, or similar environments
Exposure to FP&A or financial analysis
Experience with tools like Bill.com, Ramp, or similar platforms
Based in Latin America (e.g., Colombia, Mexico, Argentina)

Ideal Candidate

Detail-oriented and accurate – you take pride in getting numbers right
Scrappy and resourceful – you can figure things out without constant direction
Strong communicator – especially across language and cultural contexts
Digitally fluent – comfortable working across multiple systems and tools
Fast-paced and adaptable – thrives in a high-growth environment
