Main requirements
 To be fully familiar with the engineering documents and drawings issued for construction
 To familiarize the Construction contractor working at site with the Engineering deliverables
 To undertake the following main tasks (not limited to):

1) Preparing in advance any work package from the detail design issued for construction and also, from any detail & shop drawings issued by the selected subcontractors & vendors in alignment with the lookahead schedule.
2) Solving technical issues discovered during construction such as:
Interferences and clashes.
Construction errors and misalignments.
Equipment & material not in compliance with design specifications.
3) Technical and dimensional surveys, solution sketching and drawings updating by means of RLMUs (see attached procedure).
4) Technical query to the main office to solve any complex issues arising during the work activities.
5) Issue any needed MTO in order to allow the issuing of the relevant purchase order in agreement with CM&SM.
6) Ensure that all materials and equipment meet project requirements.
7) Conduct inspections and testing of materials and performed works also in support of quality representatives.
8) To attend any site meeting as per FPE&CM&SM&PEM instructions.
9) To coordinate with the Site Document Controller in order to issue, circulate and archive the RLMU drawings with the purpose, then, to transfer them to the As-Built stage.
10) To cooperate and support in order to assure that any construction method statement and lift plan are issued in due time and, if requested, approved by the CPY.

Field Engineer has to refer and follow any instruction from:
- FPE or, in his absence, from CM&SM&PEM
Any direct communication with the Client has to be previously authorized by the FPE or, in his
absence, by the CM&SM&PEM.
