THE HOUSEHOLD

A formal, fully staffed VIP household based in India, where a highly engaged mother takes an active and present role in the lives of her children. This is a home where standards are high and the right professional will be genuinely valued.

THE ROLE

An experienced, educationally focused Rota Nanny is sought to join this distinguished private household on a one-month-on rotation basis. The position is primarily based in India with regular international travel alongside the family. You will provide primary care for a five-year-old boy, with a second child joining your care in the coming months. Working in close partnership with a hands-on mother, you will bring structure, warmth and genuine developmental intent to every day.

— Plan and deliver age-appropriate learning across phonics, reading and early numeracy, in line with EYFS and the British curriculum
— Design and maintain daily, weekly and monthly activity and learning plans
— Support early language, cognitive and social development, following the child's interests and extending them meaningfully
— Prepare the children for school and nursery readiness with confidence and consistency
— Manage full nursery duties and structured daily routines for both children
— Organise enriching activities, play and outings that balance learning with exploration
— Prepare nutritious meals and manage wardrobe, day-to-day organisation and children's requirements
— Liaise with relevant professionals regarding health, development and wellbeing as needed
— Administer medication when required
— Travel internationally with the family, maintaining continuity of care and learning throughout

Accommodation is provided when on rotation. Salary is disclosed to shortlisted candidates. This role is available immediately.

THE CANDIDATE

— A minimum of ten years' experience as a nanny with a strong, demonstrable educational focus
— Qualified and experienced in early childhood education, with a thorough understanding of EYFS and the British curriculum
— Background in teaching, whether within a school setting, homeschooling environment or both
— Proven ability to plan and deliver structured early years programmes independently
— Montessori knowledge is a welcome addition, though not a requirement
— Experienced working in private households, ideally within formal or high-expectation environments
— Genuinely comfortable in a shared care dynamic alongside an engaged, present parent
— Proactive, organised and reflective — someone who brings intentionality to every aspect of their role
— Warm, calm and development-focused, with a natural ability to connect with young children
— A strong swimmer with an enthusiasm for outdoor and experiential learning
— Flexible, travel-ready and composed across changing environments
— British passport holder and native English speaker
