Salary: $110,000 - $125,000/yr
Bonus: Up to 15% annual bonus

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team working on a sophisticated SaaS web platform. In this role, you will develop large-scale features, drive coding best practices, mentor junior engineers, and actively participate in an agile development environment. You will take ownership of complex technical challenges while helping elevate the skill level of the entire team.

Key Responsibilities

Develop large features and improvements as well as fixes and library upgrades
Write unit tests to maintain and improve test coverage
Drive coding best practices within the team and conduct thorough code reviews
Guide and mentor junior engineers, providing constructive feedback and career development support
Actively participate in agile development processes including design reviews, planning, and retrospectives
Implement integrations with third-party services

Required Qualifications

7+ years of professional experience developing web applications
Expert-level proficiency in Python
Strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and React
Solid knowledge of MongoDB or SQL databases
Proficiency with Git and Docker
Strong CS fundamentals including data structures and algorithms
Deep knowledge of modern web application architecture and design patterns
Proven experience coaching and mentoring junior engineers
Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal direction
Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Kubernetes
Experience with AWS
