Assistant Manager – Brands & Digital Marketing

Reports To: Head of Marketing

Role Purpose

The Assistant Manager – Brands & Digital Marketing will support the development and execution of brand strategies to drive growth, market share, and consumer engagement. Operating within a highly regulated environment, this role focuses on delivering single-minded, impactful communication and enhancing brand visibility. You will be responsible for translating high-level brand strategy into actionable digital and trade execution, ensuring all initiatives align with the relevant legal frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Strategy & Campaign Management

Regulatory Compliance: Plan and execute digital campaigns across various platforms, ensuring strict adherence to industry-specific regulatory frameworks.
Asset Management: Oversee brand-owned digital assets (websites, social media pages, landing pages), including content creation, scheduling, and community management.
Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs for engagement, reach, and conversion. Optimize ROI using SEO, SEM, AI-driven tools, and comprehensive analytical reporting.
Agency Collaboration: Partner with creative and digital agencies to build lifestyle-led brand narratives and manage end-to-end campaign execution.

2. Brand Development & Insights

Strategic Planning: Assist in brand positioning, annual marketing calendars, and the planning of product launches and trade marketing activities.
Market Intelligence: Monitor brand performance, competitor activities, and emerging market trends to recommend proactive strategy improvements.
Data Optimization: Use data analytics to refine targeting, content timing, and budget allocation for maximum impact.

3. Integrated Execution

Trade Alignment: Work closely with Sales and Channel teams to ensure brand consistency during on-ground activations and events.
Storytelling: Bridge the gap between traditional brand building and modern digital storytelling to create a cohesive consumer journey.

Candidate Profile

Experience & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. An MBA is highly preferred.
Industry Experience: 3–4 years of experience in a regulated industry, such as Alcobev, Pharmaceuticals.
Core Expertise: Demonstrated experience in brand building through storytelling, digital marketing expertise, and end-to-end campaign management.

Technical & Behavioral Skills

Digital Savvy: Proficiency in using SEO, SEM, and analytical tools to drive performance.
Strategic Mindset: Ability to translate abstract brand concepts into tactical trade and digital executions.
Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to navigate cross-functional requirements between Marketing, Sales, and Legal/Compliance teams.
Adaptability: Comfortable working within the constraints of a highly regulated market while maintaining creative excellence.
