Accounts Receivable Manager – Berlin (Full‑Time)

What You Will Do

Lead and manage a team of 2–3 Accounts Receivable specialists
Oversee billing and collections for German locations
Manage two billing cycles per month (~500 invoices monthly)
Monitor DSO and continuously improve AR processes
Design and implement scalable processes and automation
Support monthly closing and revenue recognition
Analyze revenues, KPIs, and financial metrics
Act as the main financial contact for members, handling inquiries
Collaborate with finance and cross‑functional teams
Resolve complex billing discrepancies and escalated issues
Coordinate with the Legal department when needed
Review invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and consistency
Maintain a hands‑on approach by managing one site out of 14
Ensure strong accounting oversight across multiple systems

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
Mandatory managerial experience
6+ years in Accounts Receivable or accounting
2+ years in a fast‑paced environment
Fluent in German (B1/B2) and English
Strong accounting knowledge (3–6 years invoicing experience)
Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in MS Office
Experience with SAP Business One, Salesforce, and Monday (advantage)
Excellent communication skills
Strong customer service mindset
High attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Ability to identify errors and implement corrective actions
Strong interpersonal skills; able to work independently and in teams
